The 2026 symposium will bring together higher education leaders and global experts to explore how energy systems and geopolitical shifts are reshaping the world – and what that means for universities. The program features a keynote address by General David Petraeus on “Geopolitics and the Future Global Order”, along with sessions examining global energy transitions, regional dynamics in Latin America, and the evolving role of the Middle East in global markets and security.
AIEA President Elect and Board Member Jill Blondin will be moderating the panel, “The Middle East at a Crossroads: Energy, Conflict, and Global Impact,” that will examine how evolving political, security, and economic dynamics in the Middle East are shaping global energy markets and international relations.
At a time when energy security, sustainability, and international collaboration are increasingly interconnected, don’t miss this chance to explore how institutions can more intentionally engage in research, partnerships, and global strategy to address these complex challenges.
TCU is pleased to offer a registration discount for AIEA members. Members, please check your inbox for details.
