AIEA is committed to expanding access to the global international education leadership community. Through the Leadership Access Discount, eligible individuals may receive 50% off the cost of membership. This discount is available to individuals in the categories listed below.
Leadership Access Discount
Save 50% on your AIEA Membership
$350 $175 (50% savings)
Community Colleges, HBCUs, and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs)
Individuals employed by institutions classified as community colleges, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), or other Minority Serving Institutions according to the Carnegie Classification. This discount is also available to individuals working at institutions outside the United States that are equivalent to these categories.
Institutions in Low- and Lower-Middle-Income Economies
Individuals currently residing in countries classified by the World Bank Group as low-income or lower-middle-income economies.
Retired AIEA Members
Retired Individuals no longer earning income in international education, not including consulting work.
Leader +1 Campaign
First-time Members
First-time members nominated by an existing AIEA member as part of the Leader +1 Campaign. Individuals must not have previously held an AIEA membership, regardless of changes in institution or position.

New AIEA Members
If you believe you are eligible for this discount and are a NEW member, please submit a request form ONLY, and do not apply to join yet. Please allow up to 7 business days from the date submitted for us to provide feedback on your request. If your request is approved, a specific “Join” link will be sent to you via email.
Renewing AIEA Members with the Leadership Access Discount
If you are a renewing member, an invoice will automatically be generated for you and you do not need to submit this request.
