What is the Leader +1 Campaign?

The AIEA Leader+1 Membership Campaign seeks to identify and encourage the next generation of leaders in international education to join AIEA and actively engage in shaping the future of higher education. Through this initiative, AIEA aims to diversify and expand its membership by welcoming new voices and perspectives into the Association.

Current members are invited to nominate prospective members who demonstrate strong potential as future leaders in the field of international education. Nominees must be first-time members and must not have previously held an AIEA membership, regardless of any institutional or position changes. Nominees receive a 50% discount on their first year of membership by completing the Discount Request Form, and including the name of their nominator.

Nominators are entered into a drawing for an AIEA Annual Conference registration, which can be used personally or donated to a fellow international education leader. Each nomination counts as a separate entry

Join us in welcoming and supporting the next generation of international education leaders.
