What leadership challenges or questions are you navigating right now that deserve deeper exploration?
AIEA Thematic Forums are focused convenings designed for international education leaders to examine specific issues in depth. Rather than broad programming, these Forums create space for idea exchange, meaningful connection, and intentional networking among peers navigating similar challenges.
AIEA Members have the opportunity to submit a proposal to host a Thematic Forum centered on a theme of their choice that’s relevant to international education leadership. Selected Forums receive $5,000 in AIEA funding to support the event’s planning and implementation. Members based outside the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
As a Forum host, you’ll bring together a group of peers to explore your defined topic of choice with intention and depth. AIEA provides support along the way, while you shape the focus and structure of the experience.
